Mercy Tolbert, owner of Mercy Me Treats has had a passion for pastry since she was about 13 years old. Spending lots of time watching the Food Network with her late grandfather Albert Wilson, is what really sparked her interest in food. In 2016 Mercy enrolled in the Pastry Arts program at Walnut Hill College where she later obtained her Bachelor's degree in Pastry Arts in June of 2019. Now she's working full time in Philadelphia as a Pastry Cook, while also running Mercy Me Treats since 2017. What she loves most about pastry arts is her ability to create edible art. She's so blessed to be able to do what she loves while putting a smile on the faces of others! Mercy is a firm believer that if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.
